Trust and safety
Clear accounts, messages, tracking, reports, and reviews help keep deals organized.
Reverse Marketplace is designed to make buyer requests, seller listings, offers, and transactions easier to follow from start to finish.
Safety features
- Accounts connect requests, listings, offers, messages, and transactions to real user profiles.
- Messages are grouped by conversation so both sides can see deal context.
- Shipping transactions include carrier and tracking updates.
- Buyers can review and report sellers after transactions.
- Rules and terms explain shipping windows, meetup expectations, and strike consequences.
Transaction support, not a blanket guarantee
Reverse Marketplace provides transaction support tools such as messages, tracking records, reports, reviews, return records, and support workflows. These tools help document problems, but they do not guarantee reimbursement for every issue. Refund or resolution options depend on the transaction, payment method, evidence, return policy, and applicable rules.
What verification labels mean
Badges should be read literally. Email Verified means an email was verified. Phone Verified means a phone number was verified. Completed Sales means the user has completed marketplace transactions. A seller rating or activity badge does not mean Reverse Marketplace verified the seller's legal identity unless the badge clearly says ID Verified.
Safe marketplace behavior
Buyers should describe requests clearly, double-check addresses before checkout, inspect items before paying cash at meetups, and review seller details before accepting. Sellers should provide accurate item details, realistic prices, clear photos, and tracking information for shipped orders.
Meetup safety
- Meet in public, well-lit places when possible.
- Inspect the item before paying cash.
- Do not send deposits outside the platform.
- Do not switch to shipping, cash apps, or off-platform payment just because a stranger asks.
- Do not share unnecessary personal information.
Reports and reviews
After a transaction, buyers can leave a review or report an issue from their account and transaction area. Reviews help future buyers understand seller reliability, while reports help track issues like wrong items, missing parts, damaged items, or delivery problems.
